If there is an exact science to working in the legal profession, who would know better than David who graduated with an honours B.Sc. in Chemistry & Biology from the University of Windsor?
Embracing a life-long passion for the sciences, David’s enthusiasm was duly recognized during his undergrad when he won the prestigious M. Holder-Franklin Award for Excellence in Science Research.
But it’s not all Bunsen burners, beakers and biodiversity for this self-professed globetrotter. In fact, his sense of adventure and wanderlust have pushed him to skydive high above Switzerland, hike through some of Europe’s most majestic cities, and visit Peru where he climbed to the top of Machu Picchu.
In 2007, in between all that jet-setting, David found enough time to obtain his law degree, also from the University of Windsor.
Giving back to the community is important to David, so he makes sure to carve out some time to share his legal knowledge with community and provincial agencies offering family assistance where it is needed most. Among them are the Jewish Family & Child Resource Planning Committee; as a presenter for the Ontario Mandatory Information Program for divorcing couples; and as a guest speaker at various women’s shelters/centres in Mississauga.
In addition, David was a keynote presenter at the 2016 Family Law Summit where he spoke about Unjust Enrichment and the Joint Family Venture.
When David is not talking, drafting documents or falling precipitously from the sky, he enjoys running as well as spending quality time with his daughter; endeavoring to keep her out of as much mischief as possible.
Around the office, David has a reputation for being diligent, hard-working and a real team player. To his clients, he is always caring and empathetic while he faithfully defends their rights. Although he prefers to focus on reasonable resolutions in matters of divorce, he is equally skilled at protecting clients during high conflict court cases.
