Dillanique has always known that she had a passion for advocacy. She graduated with Honours from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelors of Arts in Justice Political Philosophy and Law. She went on to pursue paralegal studies at Seneca College in their Advanced Paralegal Programme, as well as receive her certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution. She became a licensed Paralegal in 2017. As if that was not enough, she went to the University of Sussex in England where she obtained a Bachelors of Law (LL.B ).
Dillanique has always been involved in her community, volunteering with various organizations whose mission supports educating students in at risk communities. As a member of Nu Omega Zeta, aside from volunteering in the organization’s community outreach, she is involved in organizing a program allowing minority high school students in the GTA to visit university campuses under the mentorship of minority students to highlight the possibilities of post-secondary education.
In her spare time, Dillanique likes to travel. She has been to the Dominican Republic, Paris, Holland, Germany, just to name a few places. Her current travel aspiration is to visit New Zealand. When she is not travelling, she is attempting to learn the ukulele and enjoys crocheting while binging “Criminal Minds” for the 50th time. She is an avid reader and never misses an opportunity to read a good book.
Anyone that knows Dillanique knows she is a people person. She regularly interacts with clients keeping them up to date on the status of their files and assisting staff in any way possible.
