Growing up as the youngest of four children, Jessica had an endless amount of sibling squabbles to referee. She developed a penchant for problem solving that led her to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in psychology so she could better understand how people tick. Afterwards, she realized that becoming a family law lawyer was the best way for her to help people solve their most difficult problems.
Jessica obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia in 2013. As a lawyer, she works to minimize the cost of family disputes and maintain a child-centric approach. Her files most often resolve themselves in agreements or consent orders, but in the event that mutual agreement cannot be found, she is prepared to resolve her client’s matters in court.
In her spare time, Jessica is an avid hockey fan. Her love for the game dates back to playing on a team with her twin brother in the boy’s minor league. Her goal is to attend an NHL game at every arena, and she’s already ticked Toronto, Vancouver, and Nashville off her list. She also loves playing the guitar, dancing, reading murder mystery novels, and cycling.
Jessica was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2014 and in Ontario in 2018. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, Law Society of British Columbia, the Family Lawyers Association, and the Women’s Law Association of Ontario.
