Jessica Lipton

Jessica obtained her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Integrative Biology and Psychology at the University of Toronto. She then followed up her studies in science at York University and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Law and Society. Although two degrees would be enough school for most, Jessica had her sights set on law school and obtained a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.), from the Southampton University, in the United Kingdom. Jessica was called to the Canadian Bar in 2015. Jessica is trained and certified to practice Collaborative Family Law.

Jessica is involved in the community, previously volunteering at the Old City Hall and Metro North Courthouse as an intake worker. Jessica is currently a board member at the Chinese and Southeast Asian Legal Clinic (CSALC), and member of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.

Jessica is a self-proclaimed foodie, enjoying cooking and eating out at the newest “it” restaurants. Jessica will travel far and wide for the right ingredients or dishes, with Paris, Venice and Chicago being her favourite places. Jessica keeps active and burns off the calories, whether it is pilates, playing sports or hitting the slopes. Jessica doesn’t say no to extreme sports, with bungee jumping in Macau or skydiving in Australia crossed off her bucket list. Outside of cooking and travelling Jessica is an avid TV fan, especially when it comes to everything Shonda Grimes.

Jessica understands every client who walks in the door has a different life story, and she will find out what is important to them and create a plan to achieve success in their case. She ensures that her clients understand their decisions and what to expect, and helps them prepare for what is likely one of the most difficult times in their lives. Clients benefit from Jessica’s ability to be tough and tenacious in advocating practical, workable and realistic legal solutions.
