Simone’s parents wanted her to become the first doctor in the family. Given her distinct aversion to blood, she chose a different a path and attended Osgoode Hall Law School where she obtained her law degree. While in law school, Simone developed a keen interest in family law, volunteering with the Barbra Schlifer Clinic and the Family Law Project to assist family law litigants.

Simone is committed to assisting her clients with resolving their matters quickly and cost-effectively. Whenever possible, Simone takes a settlement-oriented approach while advocating for a fair resolution for her clients. Simone’s patience, empathy and humour enable her to build a strong working relationship with her clients.

When she is not working, Simone is an avid reader and loves to curl up with a book, any book of any genre would do. She loves to challenge herself with new activities and is currently attempting to master the aerial hoop and golf.  Simone also enjoys hiking, jogging, playing pickleball or badminton.

Simone is a member of the Peel Law Association, the Halton Law Association and the Canadian Association of Black Lawyers.
