Brooklyn began her career at Gelman & Associates in 2020 and later returned to the firm to complete her articles. Following her call to the Ontario Bar, Brooklyn joined the firm as a lawyer, where she practices exclusively in family law.

Brooklyn earned her law degree from the University of Birmingham, graduating at the top of her class. Her dissertation was published following her graduation.

Brooklyn brings a thoughtful and practical approach to her family law practice. She understands the significant impact that family law matters can have on a person’s life and takes the time to understand what matters most to each client. Her clients appreciate her honest and direct advice, realistic expectations and clear guidance. Brooklyn takes pride in helping clients navigate separation and divorce while ensuring they are informed, prepared and positioned to move forward.

Outside of her legal practice, Brooklyn enjoys reading, following pop-culture legal cases and spending time with her dog. She is also a devoted Formula 1 fan – most of her Sundays are spent trackside (at least virtually).

Community Involvement

• Campaigned for improved access to government-funded fertility treatments and received formal training in counselling and listening skills, which she applied while leading group therapy sessions for individuals navigating infertility.
